Rush Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Rush running and interval training application ("Rush", "we", "our", "us"). By using Rush, you agree to these Terms.

Use of the app

You must use Rush in compliance with all applicable laws. Do not use the app in unsafe situations (e.g., while in traffic) or in ways that could harm yourself or others.

Accounts

You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your login credentials secure.
  • All activity that occurs under your account.

We may suspend accounts involved in misuse, fraud, or violation of these Terms.

Permissions and integrations

Rush relies on several device permissions and integrations:

  • Location Services – required for running and interval tracking.
  • Bluetooth – connects to heart-rate monitors and compatible wearable devices.
  • Health services (Apple Health, Google Fit, etc.) – for reading and writing workout data.
  • Analytics and advertising services (Google AdMob, Firebase Analytics).

By enabling these permissions, you grant us the right to process the associated data as described in the Privacy Policy.

In-app purchases & subscriptions

Rush offers optional premium features via in-app purchases.

  • Purchases are handled by the App Store or Google Play Store, not Rush directly.
  • All sales are final.
    Because premium features are considered digital goods, subscriptions and purchases are non-refundable, except where required by law.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
  • You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your App Store or Play Store account settings.

Third-party services

Rush depends on third-party services (e.g., AdMob, Firebase, payment processors, Health integrations). Their actions and availability are outside our control. You agree that Rush is not responsible for:

  • Service outages or errors from third-party providers.
  • Data handling practices of third-party services (see their respective policies).

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Rush and its team are not responsible for injuries, data loss, inaccuracies, hardware issues, or any damages arising from app usage.
  • Rush is provided "as is" and without warranties of any kind.
  • You use the app at your own risk, including any fitness outcomes or device interactions (location tracking, Bluetooth sensors, health data).

Changes to the app

We may modify or discontinue features at any time. We may also update these Terms, and updates become effective upon posting in the app or on our website.

Termination

You may stop using Rush at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or misuse of the app.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the Netherlands, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
